What began as an intimate local favourite has steadily evolved into a landmark destination for cocktail aficionados and gourmands; not just in Chennai, but across the country.

At its heart, Sundays is still about comfort and connection. The space carries a sense of ease, familiarity, and welcome, while continuously growing in ambition and creativity. Over the years, it has transformed into a place where thoughtful design, soulful food, thoughtfully curated DJ program and a progressive beverage program come together to shape memorable experiences.

We don’t believe in overcomplicating food. Our philosophy is simple: serve the best possible version of everything on our menu. Each dish is built on bold yet familiar flavours, quality ingredients, and an instinctive understanding of what people love to eat when they come together. The result is food that feels approachable yet refined; designed to pair effortlessly with conversation, cocktails, and long, unhurried evenings.

The beverage program is the soul of Sundays and a true reflection of the team’s passion for balance, creativity, and craftsmanship. Each drink is designed to suit the many moods of a perfect day, whether it’s a refreshing spritz in the afternoon, a bold Old Fashioned at night, or a finely tuned zero alcohol option for mindful sipping.

What began with 29 cocktails has grown into a collection of 69, shaped largely by guest curiosity and demand. Innovation at Sundays follows a simple rhythm. Our guests inspire us, and we respond with creativity.

This spirit of experimentation led to the creation of the Navarasa menu, an emotion driven cocktail experience exploring flavour through the lens of human feeling. Inspired by rare Indian and global ingredients such as black lime and Persian blue salt, the menu paired unexpected flavours with the nine classical rasas, creating drinks that were as expressive as they were memorable. Its success revealed a strong appetite for storytelling through cocktails and reaffirmed our belief that drinks can be both experiential and deeply personal.
